Snowy Weather
The University of Maryland Quad under a blanket of snow.
After a week of highly varied weather (I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt earlier in the week), it snow a couple of inches this morning. It was apparently great snow for making snowmen, because there were four of them outside my apartment and I passed another four on a short walk around the campus (and some of them were huge!).
As I walked around the main quad, I ran into two guys building an igloo. It looked great, but was only about half finished after what I was told was four hours of work.
On Saturday, Brian, Cole and I headed to Fadó to catch the Scotland vs Italy and Ireland vs England Six Nations rugby games. Nothing like an Irish breakfast and a few pints of Guinness at 10 in the morning to wake you up. Well, actually, it was a few pints of Guinness and scrambled eggs for those of us not eating the meat orgy that is an Irish Breakfast. The games were a lot of fun to watch, even though both were rather one-sided. After five hours of straining to see the game over the ever-increasing crowd (and with an ever-growing bill), we decided staying to watch the Wales vs. France game might be pushing it a bit, and grabbed some food next door at RFD before heading home.

Yeah. I’m having a hard time picturing how people got that top snowball on top of the snowman. It’s huge, and over six feet high.
