Back to the salt mines…

It’s a great feeling to have things just come together all at once. Today I worked on my thesis for 12 hours straight, and got more work done on it than I have in many weeks. Of course, twelve hours straight of looking over bytecode dumps, syntax trees, perl internals, and trace files has brought me to the point where it feels like my eyes are about to bleed - but I suppose that’s the price I pay.
In this single coding session, I was able to finally resolve the long outstanding problems with determining code-dependancies for subroutines as well as writing the new code to determine data dependancies for subroutines.
Oh, and chalk up two patches (optimizer and IPC::Run), and a bit of work on the genomics summer project. I’m rocking tonight!
