Yesterday, Plasticbag linked to an interesting piece on Ferrofluid Sculptures by Sachiko Kodama which react in interesting ways to magnetic fields. Based on the amazing videos of the ferrofluid, I think it would be amazing to see a physical spectrum analyzer made out of this stuff.
