The anouncement of the Mind Candy DVD (via Slashdot) was a nice surprise:

«[A] Video-DVD compilation of 42 of the greatest PC demos of the past 10 years.»

This sounds like it would bring back a lot of great memories. The fact that ex-Hornet members were making this happen is also wonderful news.

Of course, I always wanted to put a computer into a TiVo-like set-top box, load it up with the contents of the Hornet archive (now archived at scene.org), and have it run the demos. Add a lickable search interface (like TiVo) and it would be a device to be lusted after.
