The Porn Myth and gender politics:Suddenly women aren’t the sole gatekeepers to the sexual progression of a relationship. A man might present sex as an option slower than he wants to his woman because he’s afraid of appearing oversexed. Now a woman might also have to compromise sexually because she’s afraid that her man might become bored or have unrealistic expectations.
