Thunderstorm Season

Lightning seen from the balcony.
The other night Matt kept pestering me to grab my camera and get some shots of the approaching storm. I’m sure glad he did because I got about 3 shots off from the balcony before it started pouring rain and this one captured the lightning very well.
These photos were done in a big hurry and I’m not very happy with the composition (the power lines and railings blocking the view are annoying). There are some more thunderstorms heading this way, though, so I think Matt and I might try to go out to one of the nearby parks and try to get some more lightning shots this weekend.
