ESWC Wrapup

ESWC went really well. The Scripting workshop was quite good, making me a bit sad that I missed last years’ at which I was supposed to present a paper. The conference proper was also good, but the hallway (beach) track was far superior to most of the presented talks.

I saw a few people that I hadn’t seen since the FOAF Workshop in August 2004, including Gunnar and Knud, and quite a few more that I had seen at ISWC in November including Tom, Leo and danbri.

I’ll be posting photos locally within the next few days, but for now there are some of my favorites on my Flickr ESWC set.

On Thursday after the conference had ended, Gunnar and I drove to Kotor and spent most of the day in the town and driving up the numerous switchbacks to the pass over the mountains, 1000 meters above Kotor.

I’m now sitting in the lounge at Heathrow airport waiting for my flight back to Boston. This won’t be posted just yet, though, as I’m unwilling to pay money for the TMobile wireless.
