On a train to Washington

I’m on a train heading for Washington right now, and tomorrow morning I’ll be driving to Roanoke for an extended family gathering. I’ll be back on a train on Sunday night, and back in Providence on Monday morning.

Roanoke? At least if you mysteriously disappear, we won’t feel too bad not figuring out what happened to you. Some might guess you fell victim to Native Americans reclaiming their lands, others to a mysterious ailment, and yet a vocal few to the incredible theory that you were abducted by aliens, taken to Atlantis, forced into a three-way with Sasquatch and Amelia Earhart only to be delivered back to Earth eqipped with strange psychic powers and a desire to eat human flesh. And really, any dying by of those theories sounds better than attending a family reunion.
