Dinner
And then of course there was the incident of the €1,700 dinner bill. The vegetarian, non-wine drinkers always get shafted on things like that.

Ordering something ridiculously expensive means that I pay more. Perhaps not proportionately more for what I’m getting, but it still means I’m paying more on a bill I already can’t afford.

coming from someone who has eaten more than her fair share of a bill with you, i know i wouldn’t mind. :)
Posted by: lhb on September 21st, 2004 3:29 PMThat’s made more difficult when you’re with 25 or 30 people, you don’t know many of them, and everyone’s ready to move on to the pub; Dividing up a 1700 euro check based on what each person consumed takes a good deal of time and effort.

Perhaps your more interested in keeping the overall cost down, though. ponders
