My Favorite You
One year ago, I showed up back at Wheaton, and did the Spring Weekend thing, living out of Simon’s room. And here I am again, this time out of Shuli’s room. The Weekend seemed more like a reunion this year with graduates showing up all over the place. Dara and Anna came down from Maine, Joline from Dartmouth, Sam Preta, Simon, Alan, and Matt from Boston, Sam Pearson from Andover, Tony from Connecticut, and lots of others. As always, Spring Weekend amounted to Wheaton becoming a safety bubble for public and under-aged drunkeness, so craziness abounded.
I somehow ended up in the woods every night, and loved every moment. I found Friday night especially pleasant as the cool, misty weather turned into a light drizzle while we were walking the leaf-covered paths in the dark.
The Resophonics again played in back of the Lyon’s Den this morning to close out the Weekend festivities. Their set was excellent (again), and I snagged a copy of their new album, Diamonds in the Ground.
A few pictures from the weekend are up as a new album. Enjoy.

It’s funny, but I seemed to have enjoyed this spring weekend more than any other. Strange how it takes graduating to make me appreciate the festivities more. Of course the mini-reunion with all the ‘03 Alums helped quite a bit. Seeing everyone together again, even if it was only for a short time really felt somehow “right.”
