Fred GallagherThanks to Mike, who alerted me two hours ahead of time, I had a great time at MIT this evening at a talk by Fred Gallagher, creator of MegaTokyo. His talk meandered through topics such as school, architecture, the early days of the internet, Japanese versus American manga fansites, backstore on MegaTokyo and its real-life cast counterparts, hosting costs, and the MT fans, and it was tons of fun.

so…UHM… (looks around nerviously) I’ve read about mega tokyo a few times before, and you mention it here from time to time. Tonight I was bored out of my mind and decided to start from the begining. And I’m subsequently hooked. I blame you (smile)
