we spent wednesday back in philly with mike and jill (friends of shuli) which turned into a mixed blessing and curse as I spent a ton of money on new music at a nice record store. the new stuff includes:
- Songs of Cohen / Leonard Cohen
- Requiem for Adam / Kronos Quartet
- Ambient 2 / Brian Eno
- Beelzebubba / The Dead Milkmen
and on 7”:
- (Dischord 15) / Minor Threat
- The Big Three Killed My Baby / The White Stripes
- Hard To Explain / The Strokes
- Sweetness / Jimmy Eat World
And I got a used copy of “Confessions of Zeno” from an awesome bookstore on South Street. Overall I’m very glad I came, and got to see a lot of friends and meet some great people.
