G4 Upgrades

More PowerBook news. Not quite as tasty as the G5 speculation, but good news anyway.
Ars Technica: Motorola unveils the MPC7447A:The 7447A is great stuff, and my money’s on it showing up in the next PowerBook update. I know I know… everyone is screaming for the inevitable PowerBook G5, but I think that such screamers should hold their horses a bit. 20W at 1.42GHz makes this a pretty sweet mobile chip by any measure, and I think it’ll make a fine incremental update to tide the line over until the G5 hits.
