Simon draws a good distinction between programmers and engineers.
Nuclear physicist required:I know how to put the parts in place. I don’t want to try imagining a world made of spherical bricks, and concrete that has the same sort of properties of Blu-tak. These new ideas that come out of computer scientists are wonderful once they have found a use, but, like the average bricklayer, I have to pick up my hod and work with it.
