Harper’s Semantic Web
December 02, 2003 06:41 PM

Sweet jesus, this is awesome. Paul Ford wields XML, XSLT, custom ontologies, and some major semantic web-fu to create a new Harper's Magazine website. Simply amazing.

A New Website for Harper’s Magazine:

Harper’s is built upon a Semantic Web framework—albeit a primitive one … We cut up the Weekly Review into individual events (6000 of them, going back to the year 2000), and tagged them by date, using XML and a bit of programming … Magic occured.
