Ponie:
Ponie is a version of Perl 5 that will run on Parrot. The stages are straight-forward in theory and will act as milestones throughout the project: Write a compatibility layer for existing Perl API, Make magic and tying work, Replace code in hot paths to use Parrot opcodes.
