Floats

I saw The Fountain last night. I think the people I saw it with didn’t appreciate it as much, but I enjoyed quite a bit.

After the movie, we had food and drinks at the Quarry House in Silver Spring where Brian and I had Guinness Floats which were excellent. I was worried that it would be a gag thing, but it was very tasty, getting sweeter and creamier as drinking more upped the ratio of ice cream to Guinness. Highly recommended.

I heard that a Guinness Float was pretty good. Always wanted to try one. What kind of icecream did you use?

A plain vanilla.

I thoroughly enjoyed that movie - worth more than the $0 we paid. I have never seen any of the others by Aronofsky, though - will have to check out Requiem and Pi when next I feel cinematically adventurous.

Oh man, you should definitely see both Pi and Requiem. But only watch Requiem with someone, and only during daylight hours. It’ll mess you up.
