Gratification

It made my day to hear online yesterday that my pet project, RDF::Query, was saving someone’s ass at work (their words, from my memory). Specifically, the rather-recent addition of direct-to-SQL compilation of SPARQL queries. Just knowing that other people were using the code was great, but knowing that the code is making someone’s life a lot easier is fantastic.
(I won’t mention the person directly because I’m not sure if they’d want to be named.)
