Spring Travels
Last week, Kat and I spent a few days of spring break in Vermont, doing all the Vermont things we could think of. There was lots of ice cream, maple syrup and beer involved. More fully, we:
- Stayed at the wonderful Swift House Inn;
- Toured the Ben and Jerry’s facgtory (which was really disappointing as the entire tour was like some sort of weird education on how they sold out);
- Enjoyed fantastic maple syrup and fresh cheeses at Sugarbush Farm;
- Toured (and enjoyed samples at) the Otter Creek and Long Trail breweries;
- Sampled beer at Magic Hat and Vermont Pub & Brewery.
My photos from Vermont aren’t online (here) yet, but I’ve posted some highlights including the above shot of Lake Champlain in a Vermont Flickr set. I’ll try to get the Vermont photos all online soon, but…
Continuing with the spring traveling, I leave tomorrow for two weeks visiting Kabir in Japan. I’m hoping it’ll be a fantastic trip as I haven’t seen Kabir in ages, and I’ve been longing to return to Japan after visiting briefly for a wedding seven years ago.
I’ll be taking as many pictures as possible while in Japan, so expect some new sets to be put online early next month after I’ve returned and had a chance to review them all.
