Semantic Web in Maryland

For those that haven’t heard, I was recently accepted to a Ph.D. program in Computer Science starting in the fall at the University of Maryland. So starting in August, I’ll be moving to DC for roughly five years.

I was offered a research assistantship that I’m guessing will be with the Maryland Information and Network Dynamics Lab, Semantic Web Agents Project (MINDSWAP), home of some great projects such as PhotoStuff, Film Trust, Pellet. My interests match very well with the MINDSWAP projects, so I’m excited by the opportunity to continue learning while contributing to these projects.
