Albany and Saratoga

I spent the weekend with Kat visiting Tim in Albany.

We spent the day in Saratoga where Tim and I drank spring water from a fountain, but Kat didn’t want any part of it. Afterward we stopped by an amazing beer store where we dropped $300, saw The Family Stone, went to Mahar’s, had dinner at The Albany Pump Station, hit up the Old World Wine Bar, and went home to wrap up the night watching Star Trek 1.

how much beer could you possibly have bought, even if it’s the premium stuff, to spend $300 on 3 people?

It was mostly just for two people. Kat got a Sam Adams winter 12-pack. I got a Magic Hat Feast of Fools 12-pack, a Left Hand six-pack, two bottles of Hitachino Sweet Stout, and (I think) seven large (22floz or larger) bottles. Tim got quite a few more large bottles, heavily weighted with Belgians.
