I’m back in LA for the week. Christmas with family, and all that entails.

It’s nice to be back in Santa Monica. Hanging out at the Promenade on a foggy night, even with all the overpriced stores that have moved in. Lunch at Tito’s. Drinks at Father’s Office.

Also nice to see friends: Leo in town from London; Liz D from DC, and Liz K here from Seattle, leaving for Stockholm on Sunday. Gary came down from the Bay Area yesterday, and Lauren and Mike drove up from Long Beach.

I’m here until the 27th, then planning on spending New Year’s with Kat and friends in the Boston area.
