Gregory Todd Williams

So who knew? Richard, the bartender at Father’s Office, the beer-snob bar I frequent whenever in Santa Monica, grew up in New England, and used to bartend at The Great Lost Bear in Portland, Maine. To think that I was there just three weeks ago! Anyway, pretty random. But he and I had a nice conversation about the Bear, and beer bars in New England in general. Watching him work is always a pleasure, witnessing near-perfection of what a bartender should be. He’s a master at his profession, and makes Father’s a wonderful treat every time I’m in the area.
