Growing Family

Last night, my twin sister gave birth to a lovely daughter named Emma Elizabeth. She weighs six pounds, and was little trouble during what I’m told was a wonderfully easy birth. Despite being nearly four weeks early, both she and her mother are doing well. Congratulations to Kim and Matt, and their new daughter.

too bad her last name didnt start with an “L” cuz then her initials would spell “EEL”. Did she keep her last name? cuz then Emma’s initials would spell “EEW”.

hows it feel to be the cool, distant uncle?

p.s. congrats

I too am a recent uncle and I hope you find it to be as magical as I find it to be.

Well, to be fair, I’ve been an uncle for a good number of years. It’s just that this time it’s my twin sister who’s having the baby.

I’ll just toss in my congratulatory comment here. I hope you get to spoil that kid rotten and teach her all kinds of Greg Knowledge ™

This IS an opportunity to ruin someone at a young age. When my nephew was born, the firs thing I told him was, “Life isn’t fair and lower your expectations.” I think its working.
