I want an IRC logger that dumps straight to SubEthaEdit, allowing real-time logs of the chat to be annotated. All the non-mac loserspeople who are unable to run SubEthaEdit end up transcribing these talks on the irc channel. Which is great, but it makes back annotation difficult and confusing. I think an irc/SubEthaEdit mix would add the benefit of a backchannel to transcription just like the irc channel currently provides a great backchannel to the actual talk.
