Harmonie

Waterman HarmonieMy new Waterman arrived yesterday, and I’m excited. I seem to have made a mistake in ordering the ink, though, so instead of black I have blue. I’m now trying to slow down my writing, and produce a halfway legible handwritten script, but that’s going slow. Too many years of scrawling out individual letters has left my lazy fingers unable to cope with cursive words of any length.

But I’m getting back into this whole writing thing. So if you’re interested in reciprocating, drop me a line and we’ll do the whole letter thing. (The weblog is for the people who aren’t interested in joining me in writing :p)

Which one did you get? Did you get a fountain pen? I’ve been debating acquiring a fountain pen for a while now… Personally, I prefer blue ink as I like the way it looks on paper. Not to mention that it is more secure as no one can photocopy your signature and have it stay blue. (Of course scanning is another matter, but you can generally tell if it is a print from a scan, or a colour copy)

Give me a Pilot Precise Rolling Ball V7 Fine pen anyway…

And damn you for making me drink Guiness! Even though you’re not here, I can never decide what to drink. I figure, “Hey, let’s think of good friends and good times.” So I’m like, “Hey bartender, make mine a Guiness.” And once she fetches the only person in the Loft who can check IDs, I get a big frothy, foamy beverage that tastes like an ashtray.

I’m a bit drunk, so that’s all I’ve got. If you’d like to see more, fly your ass back here and get to sleeping on Shuli’s “couch-tress”… that’s a mattress and a couch… or a “match”. Remember that part where I said I was drunk? That still applies.

Yes. The blue Harmonie fountain pen. I’m also wishing it had a slightly finer tip. But it’s nice.

ah the fountain pen. Love em!! I used to have a small collection of them and actually used to make my own quills to write with. It’s been a long time, but everytime I go to a store that sells pens, I stare longingly into the glass case at the wonderful beauty, age, and wisdom, that is the fountain pen.

I certainly don’t dress the part, but I’m going to have to stand with Mathis on this one. Fountain pens rule! :p
