Site Development

January 15th, 2004 9:22 PM

I’ve been doing some hacking on the site, and things are looking better. I’ve started to migrate the code pages and content away from MovableType and into an XML/RDF based format. The pages aren’t all there yet, but the ones that are are being generated from a single RDF file with the help of XSLT.

The search page is now, for the first time, styled to match the rest of the site. Search results may now also be retrieved in RSS 1.0 by passing the additional GET argument type=rdf. For example, here is an RSS feed of my posts containing the word “perl”.

I’ve also upgraded to Movable Type 2.66, and applied my local patches. If anything is broken, please let me know.
