I feel obligated to state for the record just how much this CSS fix for IE annoys me. I really liked the look of the header before the fix: The loop of the ‘f’s and ‘g’s in “Confessions of a mangalavid junkie” hung down below the header’s bounding box and lower border, and looked really nice. IE, however, doesn’t seem to like the LIR, and so required the overflow: hidden rule on the header.

So no more typographic overflow.

Bah.
