Yay! I pulled the drive from my ailing beige G3/AV box (fuosing), and put it into my P3 workstation (mangala), replacing the dead IBM SCSI drive. So now I’ve got all my media files back online. I watched some Birdman last night, and it was excellent.
So now, mangala has 276G online, and whenever I can find room to shuffle stuff around and reformat Hellas, I’ll have over 300G (this unfortunate situation resulted from an old version of RedHat not being able to recognize IDE disks larger than 126G).
It’s so nice to be listening to all the music I had stashed away on Hellas before the big server move/crash in August.
