Philly

June 15th, 2002 6:47 AM

We spent a crazy night in philly at the former apartment of a friend of a friend. It was a ton of fun, and by three o’clock, we were all engaged in an argument about feminism, race and gender inequalities, and social injustices. This was made very interesting by the fact that not many of the people involved in the conversation/argument knew each other, which lead to a very cool vibe for the whole dialog.

We arrived in Philly at around midnight (it’s nice to see that LA isn’t the only place where plans for an evening only begin at ten or eleven - see Erik, I told you it wasn’t just me! :), hung out (played with the new kitten), argued, discussed, and generally had a good time until around 4:30. We then went out for food, and finally left Philly at 5:30. We just got back home at 6:30. All in all, it was a wonddrful evening, except that now I’ll still be wicked tired when Becky arrives in a few hours… hmmmm.

Oh, and cold, overcast mornings rock my world!
