Matrox’s Parhelia-512 graphics card supports what they call Surround Gaming. Dark Crow has clips of this feature being used in a game of Quake. Yow!
Now, I’ll admit I haven’t been keeping up with advances in the video card market, but the idea of a 512-bit GPU blows my mind. With support for a TripleHead desktop with a resolution of 3840x1024 @ 32bpp, this card will be a contender for some time to come. I can only hope Mac and Linux support will be offered.
